The Clayton BCE-400 Truck Brake Washer is designed for commercial trucks, buses, tactical vehicles, and off highway equipment serviced on safety stands.
Features:
Flow-Thru Brush & Injector Nozzle
Includes parts cleaning brush featuring stiff durable bristles for extended life and vigorous cleaning action.
Also includes a flexible injector nozzle used to flush the drum before removing it. Suppressing the dust before removal prevents exposure to hazardous brake dust even when considerable force is needed to free the drum.
Air Powered Industrial Pump
The BCE-400 does not require electricity, only 30 psi of compressed air. The brake washer can be operated in the field using compressed air from a service truck's compressor.
An air regulator limits pressure reaching the pump to 32 psi and eliminates the need to adjust or otherwise regulate main shop air pressure.
Drying Gun with Safety Tip
After cleaning, technicians can quickly dry the drums/rotors and surrounding components before installing and lubricating brakes pads/shoes.
Large Work Area
The BCE-400's basin measures 23" x 21" and is large enough to catch the run-off liquid from trucks or cars of all sizes.
Made from durable polyethylene, the BCE-400 stand up to rough handling and won't dent, crack, or bend.
Cover / Drain Pad
The heavy duty flexible rubber cover doubles as a drain pad to catch back splash and direct run-off from the brakes back into the basin.
Vinyl Clad Metal Grill
Clayton's BCE-400 vinyl clad metal grill supports up to 200 lbs. and protects the primary micro filter from damage. It can be easily removed to replace the filter or cleaning solution.
Deep Basin
The basin measures 19" W x 21" D x 7" H and holds 8 gallons of cleaner
The supply line filter protects the pump from recirculating large particles.
Rugged Galvanized Steel Dolly
Constructed from 14 gauge steel, the BCE-400 dolly supports up to 400 lbs and makes it easy to maneuver and position the brake washer under the brakes.
Two locking caster keep the brake washer steady when required.
Prefilter
A stainless steel mesh prefilter sits on top of the grill when needed to collect heavy dirt and debris that can accumulate on commercial vehicles. This extends the life of the primary microfilter. The prefilter can be rinsed clean and reused indefinitely.
Primary Mirco Filter
The 15 micron efficient cloth filter catches debris and extends the useful life of the cleaning solution. This durable filter can be washed and reused repeatedly before disposal.
Oil Magnet
The oil magnet absorbs and retains 1/2 liter of oil from the cleaning and is reusable. Simply lift it out by the nylon loop, wring it out, and its ready for more use. Measures 1-1/2" x 17"
TNT Cleaner Concentrate
TNT cleaner is a non-toxic, non-flammable, biodegradable cleaner derived from all natural sources. 10oz of concentrate makes 3 gallons of potent cleaning solution.
Care Free Disposal System
In most parts of the world, waste water from the basin can be disposed of in the sanitary sewer. Filters can be disposed of as ordinary shop waste. Consult local authorities for information regarding disposal in your area.
