Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy:

Same Day Shipping

In-stock products that are shipped from our Grand Rapids warehouse can qualify for Same-Day Shipping.  Orders received by 12:00 p.m. EST Monday-Friday will ship out the same day.  Orders placed after the cutoff or shipping via freight truck will be processed the next business day.  Shipping rates are calculated based on weight, size, and destination.

To ensure the greatest satisfaction we suggest you contact us to check the availability of the item you wish to purchase. Lead times vary for products that drop-ship from the manufacturer.

LTL Shipments

Some orders may require freight truck or LTL based on the item weight or package dimensions. Orders shipping via LTL will have accessorial options available when shipping to a business address. In the case where an order is processed with no accessorial options selected and the delivering company charges additional accessorial fees, the customer will be held responsible for those fees. (i.e. residential, liftgate, remote access, agricultural)

Free Shipping

Products that are eligible for Free Shipping will be sent via UPS Ground or another “standard” shipping option.  Expedited shipping can be requested with additional shipping charges applied to the order. Free Shipping is only eligible for orders in the contiguous U.S.

Backorders

If your product is on backorder and not available for immediate shipment you will be notified of the estimated lead time.

International

Customers outside the United States should contact us prior to ordering. All international orders must be pre-paid with a wire transfer. International customers will be responsible for all customs, taxes/duties and brokerage fees.

Warehouse Pick-up / Will-Call

Warehouse pick-up is not available on all items. Please contact Unique Truck Equipment if you would like to pick-up your item from a warehouse. Identification will be checked at the pick-up location to ensure security of your order.

 

Return Policy:

If you are unsatisfied with your order within 30 days of receiving your products you may contact us for an exchange/refund. All returns are subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee. Restocking fees vary depending on the condition of the items at the time of the return and the individual manufacturer's return policy. To receive credit/refund, all returns must be authorized by a representative before being shipped back to our warehouse.  Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

 To obtain an RGA (Return Goods Authorization), call us at (616) 531-8868 with the following information:

  1. Original Order #
  2. Date of purchase
  3. Reason for return

The representative will provide you with an RGA # via email. Print and place the form provided in the original box with your return. Once we receive your item we will inspect for any damage/defects. Refunds are typically initiated within 5 business days from receipt of the returned goods.  Returns submitted after the RGA expiration date will not receive a refund and will only qualify for store credit.

Unique Truck Equipment reserves the right to offer the following for all returned items: (a. exchange  b. store credit  c. refund)

Some items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Software, downloaded items, and intellectual property
  • Personalized / Engraved Products
  • Custom built products
  • Products that have been modified or tampered with (including cut, drilled, bent, written on, etc)

Unauthorized returns or “chargebacks” are not permitted.

Warranty:

If you receive a defective product covered under warranty, Unique Truck Equipment will assist you by providing manufacturer contact information to facilitate a repair or replacement of the item as the manufacturer deems necessary.
