The Light Ranger MUTT® is a portable, water-resistant diagnostic tool designed to test trailer lights, electric brakes, and 12V circuits—without needing a truck. Built for light-duty trailers, it simulates the functions of a standard tow vehicle, allowing fast, fuse-free testing for RVs, boat trailers, landscape rigs, and more. The MUTT® features a standard 7-way spade connector, commonly used on RVs, car haulers, and larger trailers, and includes a 3-way adapter to easily test 4-pin and 5-pin connectors typically found on boat and smaller utility trailers, as well as 6-pin connectors used on horse and work trailers. Whether you’re performing a quick safety inspection or diagnosing a lighting fault, the MUTT® makes testing simple, safe, and accurate.
